today i walked outside for a while, even though it was super chilly. the fall colors right now are beautiful, as well as the mushroom pickings. i found a yellow-stainer and took a spore print of it!

Hi, so sporadic with these but setting a reminder to check in from now on! I've been going on daily walks, going to the park when I can... Keeping up with stuff I already did like recycling, using reusable bags, and trying to reduce consumption of non recyclable materials. I went vegetarian last week for good! (I'd been reducing my animal byproduct consumption anyway, but now I am fully meat-free.) Hope everyone's ecochallenge is going well, too! Good luck on the exam!

Hi all! I forgot to post before this but I've been keeping up with my actions. I try to get outside every day, or at  least have my windows open to let some fresh air in if I don't have time/energy to be outside. Today, I did the core values action and made resolutions for myself:
    - Be open and communicative about how I feel
    - Surround myself with things and people that I find beautiful
    - Stay curious and continue learning
    - Be open-minded and continue to grow as a human being
    - Above all, let my actions be guided by compassion and love for others
I've been struggling with who I am and where I belong, and I think that aligning my actions with my core values (beauty, curiosity, growth, openness, humor, love) will aid in feeling like I have a grip on my identity, which will in turn help me focus more of my energy on things other than worrying about my ego, hahah.

Lovely resolutions. I'm glad you are reflecting on who you are and who you want to be.
