REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Compost Food WasteNew to composting? Be sure to check out the action resource links to learn tips and more about it. As you transition from throwing food away to composting, what do you notice about how much you are tossing? How will you use your compost once it is ready?
Joshua Corson 10/13/2020 10:22 PMI have a garden at my house so I decided to take on the challenge to compost! We built a little section in the corner for us to put all of the scraps of food and all the materials we use to compost. It has been an interesting and a great learning experience. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable Water BottleWhile water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?
Joshua Corson 10/08/2020 12:18 PMInstead of wasting resources, I have been using the same water bottle every day. After a couple of days, I will clean the bottle but it is satisfying to be reusing the bottle and not wasting more plastic bottles.-
April Ann Fong 11/02/2020 8:35 AMSingle use bottles are not meant for re-use and do leach chemicals over time (and with heat), so be careful!
