I have a garden at my house so I decided to take on the challenge to compost! We built a little section in the corner for us to put all of the scraps of food and all the materials we use to compost. It has been an interesting and a great learning experience.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

Instead of wasting resources, I have been using the same water bottle every day. After a couple of days, I will clean the bottle but it is satisfying to be reusing the bottle and not wasting more plastic bottles.

Single use bottles are not meant for re-use and do leach chemicals over time (and with heat), so be careful!
