REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityHow can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?
Jenine Gomez 10/15/2020 12:55 PMDo I need it? How often will I use it? Do I have to store it, or clean it, or display it? Depending on the answer it depends on what I will purchase. I'm even being careful about Christmas shopping that we don't buy anything for our people that won't be used immediately and often. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicityMindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How do your eating experiences differ when practicing mindfulness?
Jenine Gomez 10/15/2020 12:50 PMDo kindle books count as electronics? Mid-day meal is a struggle to not read. My hubby struggles more with an electronics dependency than I do. Since COVID it has become a habit to have the "toys" handy. With this challenge, I'm more aware and I sit with my hands folded and watch him while he is distracted. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and RenewalConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?
Jenine Gomez 10/15/2020 12:45 PMMy husband and I are taking on this sleep challenge for the month. So we set the alarm to alert us that it is time to finish up whatever we are doing and go to bed. It keeps us aware of the time and gives us extra time to whisper to each other and snuggle.
