  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Zenab Haq's avatar
    Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 1:00 PM
When something goes wrong, it doesn't hit as hard because you've been actively being grateful for what you have. It also opens your eyes to what others don't have and make you want to equal the playing field.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Forgiveness
How has the process of forgiving, or contemplating forgiveness, benefited you?

    Zenab Haq's avatar
    Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:59 PM
It has brought some inner peace.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Exercise Daily
How can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?

    Zenab Haq's avatar
    Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:59 PM
Have a workout partner. Go for a walk in a park or ride bikes. Exercise together, not just meet up to eat and drink.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Explore My Area
How can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place -- your deep knowledge of and appreciation for your surroundings?

    Zenab Haq's avatar
    Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:58 PM
It will make me value the environment even more because no one wants to be out in unhealthy air or a place littered with trash.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Research My Investment Portfolio
In what ways can you increase the positive impacts and decrease the negative impacts of your financial investments?

    Zenab Haq's avatar
    Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:57 PM
Continue to look at what is in my portfolio and adjust it accordingly. Take a more hands-on approach.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Family Game Hour
How does being playful with others enrich your life?

    Zenab Haq's avatar
    Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:56 PM
It breaks the monotonous day-to-day. It relieves the stress of work and everything that is happening in the world.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Work From Home
It takes the average worker in the United States 26 minutes to travel to work. One way to fix long commutes would be to make cities more affordable. An even simpler option: promote the use of telework. How have you used technology to replace in-person meetings or work this year?

    Zenab Haq's avatar
    Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:56 PM
With the pandemic, everything has been virtual. Using Skype, Teams, and Zoom have helped me stay connected.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Use a Reusable Mug
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

    Zenab Haq's avatar
    Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:55 PM
I'm good with using a reusable mug because I don't drink coffee daily anyways since I don't want that act of drinking coffee to perk me up to become a habit.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

    Zenab Haq's avatar
    Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:54 PM
The barriers are the uncertainty of the quality of water out of the tap. The solution is get a filtration system on the kitchen sink or just continuing to use the filtered water from my fridge.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Find Local Recycling Depots
Our ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors, including market demand for recyclables. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?

    Zenab Haq's avatar
    Zenab Haq 10/28/2020 12:53 PM
I can take the items to a commercial place for recycling.
