Today wraps up my summer challenge of visiting all the Lake County Forest Preserves that have loops to hike. My daughter and I couldn't travel to our usual vacation spots in WI and needed a new hiking challenge. Insects were the main focus in summer, photos have been the main focus in fall. Hastings Lake was our visit for today!
