REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?
Jennifer Morris 10/20/2020 3:37 PMinefficient use of resources to grow meat, which is probably why richer people have more access to it/eat more of it. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Choose Organic IngredientsMany people say that “you can’t feed the world with just organic food.” How would you respond to that statement?
Jennifer Morris 10/20/2020 7:00 AMgrowth mindset eat local, in season, without waste and with deep enjoyment. We are paying for transport, packaging, perservatives, other chemicals and a whole lot of food waste. If we took that out overall, and build a local food economy, we could afford to give everyone access to organic food. and that isn't even taking into account the reduced impact on our health care system. -
