John Rose 10/15/2020 11:13 AMIf you live in northern Cook County, you can take advantage of the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC). There are three permanent ELECTRONIC drop-off locations: the Glenview Transfer Station (year round) every Saturday, Mount Prospect Public Works (April through October) on Wednesdays, and Hoffman Estates Village Hall (April through November) Mondays. Go to www.swancc.org for the specific times and locations. -

Residents fill orange bags with old shoes and clothes. Based on the condition, they may be resold or processed for raw materials. -
