REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodConsider the ways you can garden: a plot of land? a patio container? hanging basket? windowsill gardens? What would work best for your living situation and lifestyle?
Lukasz Wisniewski 10/28/2020 2:43 PMIn my case, the best way to garden herbs is to grow them in pots on the windowsill. And that's what I do. I always have fresh herbs :) -

REFLECTION QUESTIONNatureWhy are old refrigerant gases so harmful to our environment?
Lukasz Wisniewski 10/27/2020 3:03 PMCFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) were the first refrigerants to gain popularity, and they were present in everything from vehicles to air conditioners and refrigerators. CFCs have a long lifecycle, which allows them to accumulate in the atmosphere; upon interacting with sunlight, the molecules divide and release chlorine into the air. Chlorine in the atmosphere actively destroys oxygen, and that interaction results in the destruction of the ozone layer. -

Use natural light when possible.
Don't leave your electronics on all day long.
Don't leave bathroom or kitchen ventilation fans running longer than necessary.

Lukasz Wisniewski 10/27/2020 2:36 PMReplacing my old windows with new, triple-glazed windows, my house is definitely warmer. Thanks to this, I have to cool my flat more often (by opening windows) than to set my radiators to heat. -
