    A healthy environment allows us to be physically and mentally healthy.  Fresh air, sunshine, healthy foods all contribute to a balance.

    Indigenous speaker and activist Winona LaDuke says that, "most indigenous ceremonies, if you look to their essence, are about the restoration of balance — they are a reaffirmation of our relationship to creation. That is our intent: to restore, and then to retain balance and honor our part in creation." Why is balance important to sustainability?

    It is important to practice sustainability because that is how we are going to preserve our earth for future generations to come.

    Going great.  We're collecting a lot of food donations for the nearby Senior Center.  The residents are excited to participate.

    We had a very hot summer this year, so we did not get a lot rain.

    I would shift my sleep patterns by creating a tranquil environment before I go to bed to help me fall asleep quicker.
