October 28 at 8:22 PMA community with a lack of nutritious food options will often struggle with health issues. Access to fresh produce and whole foods should be for everyone in the community, and not just for those who live in well-to-do neighborhoods. Nutritious food impact a child's live immensely.

October 28 at 6:33 PMPollinators are part of nature and have a purpose in our ecosystem. We need their help pollinating much of the fruits and vegetables we eat.

October 28 at 6:29 PMI use a combination of gardening spaces: garden in the backyard, some herbs inside and some in a pot in the front yard. My newest plant (thanks to the ecochallenge!) is a potted Bay Laurel. I'm keeping it in for the winter and look forward to using the bay leaves in cooking.
