Writing down 3 things a day that I am thankful/grateful for helps remind me that there is still good in this world when you mostly see the bad reported on. It's very refreshing to take a few minutes to reflect on the good stuff instead of the bad. Even when there are days that I have to dig a little deeper there is always something to write down :)

    Waste Compost Food Waste
New to composting? Be sure to check out the action resource links to learn tips and more about it. As you transition from throwing food away to composting, what do you notice about how much you are tossing? How will you use your compost once it is ready?

I feel like all this site does is ask for money and really isn't that helpful

I feel like this wasn't the most useful tool in giving me ideas to reduce my carbon footprint

I take my kids used clothing to a consignment store and also buy a majority of their clothes from consignment. It makes me feel good knowing I can impact the environment by not adding as much clothing to landfills and excited at how much money I save.

Practicing gratitude keeps me focused on what is more important in the world. Instead of stressing about the things that are going wrong, it’s best to focus on the positives in order to have a better outlook on life.

    Health Forgiveness
How has the process of forgiving, or contemplating forgiveness, benefited you?

    I did the forgiveness challenge:

Forgiveness is a beautiful thing. Even though there are still scars, it washes everything clean so forgiver and forgiven can try to heal them.
Forgiveness helps both of them. It helps the victim, the forgiver, open back up to relationship and trust. It helps the aggressor, the forgiven, acknowledge their wrongdoing and try to right it. It helps them recognize how they may have hurt someone else. It also helps them recognize their own scars.
