    just to be clear, my 60 minutes a day practicing gratitude and meditating in not outside ( it has to be 50 degrees and dry for that to happen,) but inside, feet up watching out of my large picture  windows which over-look our woodland, watching the world wake up and grateful for all the plants and animals ( insects included) who live and visit.

    Ever since I read Braiding Sweet-grass (can't remember the author) I try to practice reciprocity - because I am grateful I need to give back to Mother Earth. I live in a simple but beautiful area, and I can't help but being grateful every morning when I look out my window.

    Oh my goodness, there is no comparison - I talk to my neighbors and I drink in the colors while I walk - I am connected!.

      Walking lets me slow down and focus on what I am seeing, hearing, and feeling. This fall has been great for that!

    All of the above - I hear the call of the great horned owl, I smell the musk left by a visiting skunk, I see the beautiful orange and yellow and green of the fall trees, and I feel the soft fur of the feral cat who has learned to trust me - enough to allow me to pet him.

    I love to watch the sun traveling down the trees in my back yard, and as the seasons change the colors I notice are different - puts me in touch with the rhythm of life
