REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Meet My Local FarmersWhen you know who produces your food, you are connecting personally to your complex regional food system. What are the advantages of knowing who produces your food and where it comes from? How can knowing their food producers enable someone to advocate for a better quality of life for those who produce their food, both near and far?
Gina Dullanty 10/28/2020 4:18 PMKnowing who produces your food gives you a sense of not only pride but sense of community and ownership- ownership to help them succeed and do well in their business. If you know ‘the who’ you can advocate for them and for their farms. It makes it more personal and brings the farms to the table in a whole new way. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Healing and Renewal HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Gina Dullanty 10/28/2020 4:13 PMPracticing gratitude is something that I’ve tried to do prior to the challenge so seeing this as an action was extra inspiring/exciting.
I feel like reminding others how much they mean to you, why they are special and thanking others for whatever reason keeps you centered and motivates others. It spreads a little love and joy and gives everyone a piece of happiness in their day. #spreadkindness -

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Find Local Recycling DepotsOur ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors, including market demand for recyclables. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?
Gina Dullanty 10/26/2020 8:34 AMThere are SO many places and ways to recycle! Search in your neighborhood and find ways to recycle things you think may no longer have value... be it bottles, books, clothing, electronics even certain liquids.
Looking into other ways and locations to recycle I found MANY new places to dispose of MANY new things... it's pretty mind blowing! Before you toss it, take a sec and see where you may be able to recycle it in a less harmful way. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Family Game HourHow does being playful with others enrich your life?

Time matters... shoot it's a love language 'Quality Time.' I love hearing my kids laugh, listening to their crazy stories and being able to just spend time with them.
Who do you enjoy being playful with?!-
KJ Dullanty 10/26/2020 8:44 AMAs I have gotten older I have enjoyed the time spent hanging out with my friends. Not just going to the movies or playing video games but enjoying a card game and hanging out by the pool.
