Lack of access to nutritious food can result in a multitude of health problems. It is a major indicator of systemic racial and economic inequality. Although food pantries and primarily white organizations do provide people in need with better access to food, they most often fail to create lasting food sovereignty in the communities they work...

The easier it is to do a task, the more likely people will participate, including for recycling. Maybe at Neuqua we could figure out a way to pool resources to recycle some of the more hard to recycle items such as styrofoam and bread tags. (Did not know the latter could be recycled until I say one of Gillian Schneider's posts). Would it work...

We have reached the last day of the Eco Challenge! Hopefully everyone feels proud that they made progress with their environmental goals. Some of you might be leaving attuned to new things in your environment. Great! Thanks for all your hard work.

Almost the end of the Eco Challenge!

Instead of commenting on somebody's actions or stating facts, make your rhetoric pointed and engage in constructive, not critical conversations about people's actions pertaining to the environment.

Being part of a challenge and a team is motivating. Will need to work on sustainability of my goals once the challenge draws to an end and I don't have to account to others.
