October 28 at 8:51 PM2020 is ... challenging. Taking a moment each day to reflect on and be thankful for the positives prevents me from falling into the despair spiral

October 28 at 8:49 PMHaving an active little one this time around has led to lots of playful time. Turning everyday items or tasks into games is both equally humbling and entertaining.
-
October 28 at 8:46 PMThe first couple of days of this challenge was very difficult for me. Most recreational activities I was doing at the end of a long day still led to either being on the phone, tablet or tv, so shifting back to a good book really led me to escape for a time being. I would say it significantly lowered my stress from all the doom and gloom that...

October 28 at 11:39 AMThese daily walks outside ended up being the most beneficial to me during these pandemic times, especially due to the potential for staying in one place all day while working from home.
-
October 28 at 11:37 AMThis made me realize how unregulated my sleep schedule is. A better nightly routine would probably do wonders for my sleep .

October 28 at 8:16 AMI have been particularly intrigued by visible mending. The idea is that once you rip, tear, or wear through a piece of clothing, instead of replacing it you find a way to fix the damage in a beautiful or intentional way. You can make the repair contrast with the clothing, or make it blend in. This creates a story for your clothes, kind of like...
